How we can create your perfect space

Impact Landscape & Home Remodeling is seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living spaces—from designing backyard kitchens that look like they belong indoors complete with granite countertops, refrigerators and sinks to remodeling home interiors by taking down walls to create an open-concept design with views of the yard.

“We take care of all things related to your home,” says Joe Chiera, who, along with his wife, Kristen, owns this local business.

“Whether you want to remodel your kitchen, finish your basement, transform your bathroom, add an expansive patio, install a waterfall or fountain outdoors, or spruce up your landscaping, we can do it all.”

“We make your home beautiful inside and out,” adds Kristen, who was a critical care nurse before getting involved in the family business. Her caring demeanor now translates to the exceptional customer service she provides and design inspiration she gives homeowners.

What started as a landscaping business in 1998 has catapulted into a home remodeling company encompassing both interiors and exteriors.

“I started my business by push-mowing lawns,” says Joe. “While a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School, I mowed lawns to earn spending money while balancing time between school and playing baseball.”

With a strong work ethic and keen business acumen, his company has morphed two decades later into a full-service landscaping and home remodeling company with a staff of 50 landscapers and construction crew.

“We have a passion for designing, whether it is landscaping beds or kitchens and bathrooms,” says Joe.

Home Remodeling Meticulously detail-oriented, Joe takes all measurements by hand, draws up the plans and works with the customers to design their dream space. The company also has architectural services available to finalize the design.

“We are currently working on a 1970s ranch that we gutted down to the studs and are remodeling,” says Joe. “We removed walls to create an open concept and are adding some rustic modern farmhouse elements to the design.”
